Firat Education started in 2008 with a mission to personalize educational support for families with heart, experience and the highest standards. Located in the heart of Houston, TX Firat is proud to expand Northwest to the Cypress area and support this ever growing neighborhood. Founders Ibrahim and Josephine Firat partnering with Carly Lim as the Cypress Director will bring leadership, a passion for education and direction to Cypress families looking to best develop their children’s educational and career opportunities.
How We Work
Please see service offerings below. Firat Assessments are conducted via our headquarters location at 7521 Westview in Spring Branch or online via ZOOM. Once complete, the Firat Team will coordinate an educational plan and assign the best fit teacher to provide tutoring services conveniently in your home in the Cypress neighborhood (or on ZOOM).
We work with families to align the best-fit teacher(s) with a specifically curated curriculum for their needs. Our teachers are highly qualified, trained on needed materials and trained on student safety to ensure the best experience for our families.

Our families often stay with us for years, beginning with the first diagnostic test for their oldest, and staying through college move-in day for their youngest.

Your Journey Starts with our Firat Assessment & Roadmap
The Firat Assessment & Roadmap is a thoughtful, in-depth conversation that gives us a complete view of your student’s academic profile, goals, strengths, and learning style.
At the heart of the Roadmap is a one-hour session with an educational consultant, where we take the time to truly understand your child. The Roadmap, which includes a detailed intake questionnaire and a baseline test analysis if appropriate (ISEE, ACT/SAT, GRE/GMAT), is a comprehensive assessment of your student as a whole person. This allows us to design a customized roadmap that propels them into their best future.
If you do nothing else, do the Firat Assessment & Roadmap. There’s no obligation beyond the EA. You’ll leave with a clear roadmap, and then you can decide if you’d like our team to help you put it into action.

Carly Lim brings over fifteen years of distinguished experience in the finance industry, with a career spanning premier institutions such as J.P. Morgan, U.S. Bank, and Liberty Mutual Surety. Throughout her career, she has led complex financial transactions, managed multimillion-dollar investment portfolios, and navigated sophisticated risk and credit structures across energy, infrastructure, and renewable sectors.
After a successful career in the financial industry, Carly made a purposeful transition into education, driven by a growing passion for teaching and mentorship. Inspired by the guidance and support she received throughout her own journey, she is committed to helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations. Carly believes the landscape of education is rapidly evolving, and she is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized learning experiences that empower students to adapt, excel, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Carly combines deep financial expertise with a strong commitment to her community. She is actively engaged in the Cypress area volunteering at local events, and partnering closely with CFISD, private and public schools, to stay attuned to the evolving educational landscape. Carly is also a proud mother of two children who attend CFISD schools and are participating in Firat Education programs. This unique blend of financial acumen, hands-on education, and community involvement allows Carly to thoughtfully support students and families in achieving their academic goals.
