Logic of English Curriculum
The Logic of English (LOE) is a structured literacy program that teaches the rules and logic behind English spelling, reading, and phonics. It is one of the most effective interventions available for students who struggle with reading fluency, spelling accuracy, and decoding.
Why Logic of English?
Most students are taught to read by memorizing words. The Logic of English teaches students the 74 phonograms and the 31 spelling rules that explain 98% of English words — giving them the tools to decode any word they encounter.
Who Benefits Most?
- Students diagnosed with dyslexia or reading difficulties
- Students who struggle with spelling despite effort
- Early readers who need a strong phonics foundation
- Older students with persistent reading or writing challenges
Our Approach
Our certified LOE instructors work one-on-one with each student in structured, multi-sensory sessions. Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes, 2-3 times per week, depending on the student’s needs and goals.
